Specialist DeafBlind Assessments you can trust
Specialist DeafBlind Assessments you can trust
Sensitive, expert evaluations that put communication, safety, and dignity first.
When sensory loss makes everyday life harder
If your loved one is living with both hearing and sight loss, even small tasks can feel overwhelming. You want to know they’re understood, safe, and supported at home - and that their unique way of communicating is respected.

What our DeafBlind Assessment covers
Specialist communication understanding
We explore how your loved one prefers to communicate - tactile methods, BSL, hand-over-hand signing, assistive tech - so everyone knows how to connect with them confidently.
Home, orientation & safety
We review lighting, contrast, layout, trip hazards, wayfinding, door and appliance safety, and any equipment or environmental adjustments that could make home life easier.
Daily living & independence
From personal care to meal times and community access, we focus on practical ways to maintain independence and reduce isolation.
Regulated, skilled professionals
We’re CQC-regulated and our assessors receive specialist training and ongoing supervision - so you can trust our recommendations and the people coming into your home.
We get it - handing over care is emotional and complex
We’ve helped families for over a decade and we know how heavy this feels. Our CQC-regulated team is trained, supervised and supported to the highest standards, so you can trust the people coming into your home.
"We've just moved Dad's care from another care company that I shall not name to LJM and a few weeks in and we are so glad that we did. The managers are great and nothing has been too much trouble as my dad can be a bit fussy."
Charlie Charlie
"I couldn't ask anymore from this care company the carers are friendly, competent and very caring. The management team is excellent and resolves any matters quickly.
I would highly recommend then to anybody who needs care at home."
Gerard Fox
"LJM have been amazing for my grandma. The personal care is wonderful and they put a smile on her face every day. It has allowed my mum to take a step back from my grandma's care and we feel assured that she is being looked after."
Kat Price-White
"LJM can't do enough to help my Grandparents - flexible with days and times of care calls and can add in extra calls with less than 24hrs notice. Thank you so much!"
Hannah Darby
"The office staff are always approachable and friendly and the carers are always going above and beyond to make us all happy. So glad we found them."
